R.I.C.E

Accidentally sprained my right ankle during yesterday hike, when I was descending from the peak of Gunung Panti.

So today I go to nearby clinic to visit doctor for proper treatment.

Learned something new from the Doctor: R.I.C.E.

R - Rest
I - Ice
C - Compression
E - Elevation

Doctor advised me to practise R.I.C.E immediately after ankle get sprained or injured next time: Rest your leg, Put ice immediately on the injured part, Compress your ankle tightly, and Elevate your leg.

Sadly I didn't apply these practices immediately after my ankle get sprained, and still running down slope nonstop, that is why ankle swollen and getting serious until felt painful after went back to my room.

Time to get a proper hiking shoes before for the next hike.
